WHAT EXCEL IS DOING ABOUT CORONAVIRUS
To All Valued Customers of Excel Truck Group:
We have been following the coronavirus news closely to ensure we are taking the proper measures to keep both you and our Excel team safe.
We recognize the role that our business plays in serving you and want to share with you the changes we have made with everyone’s safety in mind.
Facilities
We are working internally and with our cleaning vendors to ensure that all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned. We are providing hand sanitizer throughout each of our dealerships to be accessible to customers and employees alike and posting reminders around the dealerships for everyone to regularly wash and sanitize their hands
Events
We have cancelled our first-quarter Customer Appreciation Cookouts, our Customer AC Certification Trainings, and internal Excel meetings, and are reviewing other events on a case by case basis. We appreciate the enthusiasm that everyone has shown for our events and we look forward to continuing them in the future.
Employee Safety
Many of our Excel Teammates in administration and Roanoke non-customer facing roles will be working from home. We are communicating frequently with all our Excel teammates to ensure they understand and are following the latest CDC recommendations, and we are providing thermometers at each dealership to monitor employee temperatures and ensure anyone who might exhibit symptoms is immediately sent home. We are also reducing employee travel to reduce exposure.
Customer Service & Safety
Serving you has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority. We are encouraging customers to utilize our eCommerce system or phone our team to order parts so that they can limit social interaction and halt the spread of the virus.
With all measures taken to protect our employees and customers, we ask that before you send someone to our facility to pick up a part or a truck that you ensure they are not exhibiting symptoms of the Coronavirus (fever, cough, sore throat and runny nose). If they do exhibit symptoms, we respectfully ask that they not enter the building. We ask that you call our parts department or service department prior to arriving at our facility so that we can deliver the parts or truck to your driver and keep them outside.
If you have any questions or need any additional information, please contact your Excel Truck Group representative. We are doing our best to keep you running during this challenging time. We will continue monitoring the situation, closely follow CDC guidelines, and communicate changes here that may impact you.
We appreciate your patience and look forward to continuing to serve you.
